Dear Dr. Dale,
I have been going to the Farmer's Market in Montrose for all of my life, every Sunday, to see my daddy. I have practically grown up at the Farmer's Market. Now someone wants to take it away from him.
Please read this message and help out any way you can.
You'll be glad you did.
Love,
Evan

This policy was implemented without any notice or discussion until I pointed out to the board that, as a non-profit organization, they are required to have public discussion of changes in policy. As a result the Harvest Market Oversight Committee has scheduled a meeting for 4:30 pm this Sunday, April 21.
I would appreciate it if you would write a letter to the Montrose Shopping Park Association and the Harvest Market Committee which addresses the issue. You might consider including any of the following points:

Farmer's Market Booth Threatened (from Daddy)
For
the last 8 1/2 years I have had a booth at the Montrose Farmers Market
where I talk to residents and visitors about health challenges. I
believe it has been a mutually beneficial situation in that I am able to
provide health information to local residents while at the same time I
have an opportunity to meet people who might be interested in getting
help.
It has come to my attention that the Montrose Shopping Park Association and the Harvest Market Committee have decided to institute a program of revolving chiropractors (and other service providers like realtors, masseurs, etc.) throughout the market. Obviously, this will have a major impact on my business while allowing other chiropractors to take advantage of the franchise I have built over the last 8 1/2 years.

I would appreciate it if you would write a letter to the Montrose Shopping Park Association and the Harvest Market Committee which addresses the issue. You might consider including any of the following points:
* You come to the market to visit with vendors with whom you have a relationship.
* Your meeting Dr. Dale, Tina, or Ryan at the market has really changed your life.
* You appreciate the service I provide to the community.
* You believe introducing other individuals who would offer a similar
product would be confusing and detrimental to the relationships that
have been established.
* You enjoy bringing friends to the market to introduce them to me and
then you enjoy the market or other businesses in Montrose.
* Anything else you think might help.
Please
email your letters to me (they have no email contact information or
address for correspondence), or better yet, bring your letters with you
to the meeting and have your say.
If
you cannot make the Farmer's Market Committee's Meeting this Sunday,
you can still come to the Montrose Shopping Park Association meeting
Thursday, May 2 at 8 am.
I
am sorry to ask for your assistance on such short notice.
Unfortunately, this decision will change the dynamics of the Farmer's
Market and really negatively effect my family and me, so I need your
help.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Farmer's Market Committee Information: This meeting will be held at Joselito's Restaurant, 2345 Honolulu Ave Montrose, CA 91020, on Sunday, April 21 at 4:30 pm. (Please see the FREE margarita offer below)
